  • Frottee - der Begriff stammt aus dem Französischen "frotter" und bedeutet so viel, wie ab-/einreiben. Das Textilgewebe weist eine besonderer Saugfähigkeit und einen angenehm weichen Griff auf. Daher wird das Material hauptsächlich für Heimtextilien, wie Handtücher, Waschlappen sowie Bademäntel verwendet. Charakteristisch für Frottee sind die Schlingen, die ein größeres Volumen des Stoffes ergeben und dadurch verhältnismässig viel Flüssigkeit aufnehmen können.
